Message Everything has to be perfect or you may have issues. You may have even have issues when you think everything is "perfect".

What broke? Did you bend valves?

:I don't know why I have no anger right now, but..
:Got the car in april for a grand. Had to replace the heads because of a broken timing belt. Spent most of my money on the car to get it back up on it's feet again. Got a new tensioner, water pump, etc to make sure it wouldn't happen again. Got a paint job 3 weeks ago from maaco (that's another story). 30 hrs a week on minimum wage, most of it goes into this car.
:Spent 3.5 grand to get it up, running and looking nice again. Spent so many hours fixing the motor because of a broken timing belt.
:My parents order some burritos and tell me to go pick it up. Go about half a mile down the road to the freeway onramp. I rev it up to get some speed and hear.......
:cCCCCRRCRRRFGGGGGCFRGGGCCFGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
:Im thinkin to myself, wtf did I hit? Sounded like something got caught with the splash guard. Tried to start the engine and the whole car shuts off. Im thinking, battery not plugged in all the way (Cause it happened a couple of days ago). Plug it in, and what do I see? A broken timing belt cover in front of the idler pulley.
:Who said everything doesn't have to be perfect when putting the timing belt on, when he talked me out of it when I wanted to make sure it was absolutely perfect? My dad. Thats the last time he helps me out with my car.
:I think I am going to part it out. I don't know why I am posting this. I have a Z and I need to vent.
